Why SubStack?

Truth is, I don’t enjoy self promotion and I don’t want to be a “guru” creating content the way most “influencers” do today. I’d much rather talk about - AND DO - the things that excite me than try to figure out how to get people to like or follow me. I just want to DO the cool shit that excites me with awesome people. I don’t care about photographing & documenting it so I can make myself look good later on a particular platform.

The parts of my week that I look forward to the most are my coaching calls because I get to be the real me. 

I get to talk about real shit, shit that matters, and shit that actually makes a difference in people’s lives.

To top it all off, I get to do this with people that KICK ASS! I’m blown away by the folks I get to talk shop with every week.

One of them is the guy who signed Metallica back in the day, and another is the guy who recently signed Phil Mickelson as a partner in his business. (Look closely at the hats Phil is wearing these days)

Last week, one of my clients made $39,000 in 3 days!! That’s life-changing!

I get to talk mindset, business, marketing, investing, parenting, training, music, relationships and more with these badasses.

I want more of this!

I want a place where I can share these ideas and conversations - and Instagram just isn’t that place.

The Pursuit is going to be that place.

I’m on a constant mission to be and do better - in every area of life.

In this newsletter, I will share the things that I’m stoked on that week. If I’m excited about it, I’m not writing about it.

Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to see:

  • Mindset & Psychology: The stuff in F*ck Your Feelings and the stuff that comes up in workshops, keynotes, and coaching calls.

  • Human Performance & Optimization: I’m obsessed with human potential and performance. I love science and optimization. I’m always tinkering with nootropics, supplements, routines, peptides, et al

  • Health, Nutrition & Training: see previous bullet point

  • Business, Marketing and Investing: I LOVE this stuff and usually only to talk about it on the above coaching calls. I’m excited to expand those conversations here.

  • Outdoors: Hunting, hiking, nature, and did I mention hunting trips out west?!

  • Books: What I’m reading, listening to, and maybe some previews of what I’m writing ;)

  • Music: playlists, musings on lyrics, the industry, etc, etc…

  • Coffee: I’m a coffee snob. I’ll share my current brew and any new coffee shop finds in each installment.

I’m committing to 2 newsletters per month.
